Beware of the Internet pranks - poor Beethoven!!!

Please read anything you find on the Web critically. Some content creators have really strange sense of humor!!!

While searching for Beethoven trivia, I ran into a site that includes, among others, the following "facts":

Beethoven loved cooking, so much so that he named one of his pieces "Christ! On the Mount of Olives" - this oratorio is depicting Christ in the garden of Gethsemane, not on a pile of groceries!

He was jealous that Rimsky-Korsakov wrote an opera called "Mozart and Salieri" instead of "Mozart and Beethoven" - really! Rimsky-Korsakov was born in 1844, while Beethoven had been dead since 1827.

He designed one of his piano sonatas to be played with building implements and called it the "Hammer-Klavier Sonata" - actually, in German it simply means "Sonata for pianoforte"

Smile, but beware!
